I love the C.C Designs new angels stamps!!! They are so cute! I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and distress inks on the pink panel behind the angel. I colored her with copics. The white lacy edge was created with one of the new martha stewart border punches which I believe is called Garden lattice.

Baby girl in the snow

"Kai in the snow" is the name of this digital stamp created by my cousin Mo. You can find this image and many other adorable digi stamps here .
I colored her in with my copic markers. The puffy snow that she is in is a fairly new product I found at the stamp convention called Flower soft, and can be found here. Its a really fun product! The lace paper strip you see running horizontally was created with the martha stewart punch you see below. I cut a strip of paper 1 inch wide, and punched one side, and then flipped it around and punched the other side, so it looks like lace! Then I sponged distress inks on the white lace paper! It's easy! The snowflake is an acetate one on top of one I cut with a spellbinders create a flake die, then joined with a tiny brad.  The greeting stamp is from a set by the craft lounge. The pink flocked dot paper is from Making Memories!

winter trees

I have been wanting to make a card with these trees and the whole night sky colors thing. It was fun! I used posh impressions liquid ink, 3 colors of blue, with the darkest at the ground level and just smeared them on with a sponge on glossy cardstock. I cut a 1 inch circle and used it as a mask when I added my blue inks. Then later colored the moon with yellow copics. I tried to create starry night paper on the panel under the stamped/ink panel, so i poked holes in the dark navy paper to show through the silver foil paper underneath, but it didnt really show up, the parts that show up better are the dots i created with silver gel pen! C.C designs warm winter wishes

My first circle card! The little girl is a digi image I got here.I killed time this morning coloring in several digi images. When I got home I went through my paper and found papers that matched how I colored the images. I really liked how this girl matched this argyle paper by making memories( it's a few years old). I think the colors do a good job of giving it a snowy, wintery feel. I stamped little snowflakes with versamark and embossed with white. The card itself I made by folding in half the patterned paper and scoring, then I cut the circle, all but the scored edge, with my ek circle scissors tool. Super easy! I then cut 2 circles very slightly smaller than the card itself and lined the inside of the card, to make it sturdier (and cuter!)  I embossed a strip of white paper with a cuttlebug EF. The big snowflake was cut from a cricut machine a long time ago (sorry don't remember what cartridge). the purple circle is a random chipboard frame I found in my stash. I added glossy accents on the snowflake and chunky glitter on top of that. The greeting stamp(on front) is from a stampendous clear winter changito set. I used my scalloped rectangle punch I got at archivers recently on clearance for $3 for the greeting, and rubbed ink around the edges. The inside is stamped with a $1 snowflake stamp from a few years ago, and the inside greeting is a wood stamp I got at Michaels this year.

Joy to the world

I can't seem to stop creating cards with a distressed look with muted and non traditional (christmas red and green colors)!!! Oh well, I'm having fun!  I got my inspiration for this card from some magazines, where they had cream cards that were distressed and then crystal glitter added over that. The panel that the outside greeting is on was cut from Spellbinders labels 8. The holly paper is from a little pad by cosmo cricket. The ivory paper is bazzil bling. I added antique linen distress ink around the edges of all the paper layers. The snowflakes are also Spellbinders dies from the set Create a flake. The word joy is from thickers letter stickers.I added K&Company baubles to the centers and used glossy accents to adhere crystal chunky glitter to the snowflakes and edges of the light blue panel (a basic grey scrap piece from a pad). The binder edge was created with an ek success punch.The inside stamps are from a clear stamp set by papertrey. The words "to the world" are from a making memories alphabet sticker set. baby shower invites

Here's what my custom invites look like that I did for a co- worker. My first custom order!!The dotted paper is from a paper pad by SEI and the whale is a martha stewart punch. The circles were created with spellbinders nestabilities dies, and the embossed white portion was made with the argyle cuttlebug embossing folder. I sponged pink ink around the circle. The pink papers are bazzill bling cardstock. You can't really see it, but I added crystal stickles (glitter glue) around the whale cut out. The greeting words are a stamp from a clear set by martha stewart crafts. Hope the people getting them enjoy them as much as did creating them!  You may ask, why the whale for a baby girl card, well the baby's parents are big ocean/scuba/sealife lovers and are decorating the babys room in baby sea animals, so  thought this fit them nicely!  If anyone wants to know more details about my cards, please send me a message!  Have a great one!

brocade christmas

Another Christmas card, really wanted to use this green brocade paper on a christmas card, even though it's not really "christmas paper". I embossed the message in platinum metallic embossing power. The green pine branches were done by a Martha Stewart puncch. The poinsettia is from prima.
