Fathers Day card

This is the card I made this past june for my dad. He (along with me) loves the ocean, and so most of my cards for him always have a nautical theme. So I used my new Our Daily Bread lighthouse stamp and stamped in brown and smeared ink in a few places to give it a little color. It is stamped on kraft cardstock. The sentiment is from a studio G $1 stamp set.

Wedding Invite Trial

I'm working on coming up with an invite for a co-workers wedding, this was one of them. The bride and I love it, but I think it would be too time consuming to make, she wants like 150 of them!  But after going to CHA and seeing a sneak peek of the new spellbinders grand dies, I have the idea to use one of those as the shape of the invite, and then embellish with stamps and rhinestones... so we'll see!!
The rose shape was cut using a spellbinders die, and I sponged ink in it when using it like a stencil. whatcha all think?

my first CHA!!

I'm going to CHA tomorrow, if I remember, I will post some findings on here soon!! I can't wait!!! eeeek!! wish i could buy a lot though :(

SU/Sizzix embossed roses

I finally got the embossing folder "Manhattan Rose" by Sizzix, for Stampin Up! I embossed glossy white paper with this embossing folder, and then smeared versamark ink over the embossed part using a brayer. Then I heat embossed with a white pearl embossing powder. Then i used various inks to fill in the roses. I applied glitter in various places to give it sparkle, you can see that in the second close up picture. The sentiment was stamped in aqua colored ink, and then I took my quickie glue pen and went over the word FABULOUS, and applied aqua colored glitter. I used a few copics to accent the roses in the centers, to give depth. Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions!

$1 easter stamp!

My inspiration for this card came from this $1 stamp from Michaels! I stamped and embossed it, then used a circle nestability die to get it centered, and then cut it out. The yellow layer is also from a spellbinders die. I used a gold gel pen to add gold accent to the yellow label shape. The border punch is by Martha Stewart crafts. a little bird told me

Here's a card I just made for my sister in law for her birthday, her favorite color is yellow! The birdies stamp is actually one that says lovebirds at the bottom and has a heart above (and centered) the birdies. But i cut all that stuff out and made it work with this sentiment stamp! Colored with copic markers! Thanks for looking!
